Clinical Specialist

Dr. Beckett is a board certified Adult Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner. Specializing in geriatric psychiatry, he has performed over 18,000 telehealth psychiatric visits for nursing home residents throughout the US. He has been adjunct faculty at the University of South Carolina College of Nursing and guest lecturer in psychiatry at Azusa Pacific University, and, internationally, in Cluj-Napoca, Romania.

Dr. Beckett is a reviewer for the Journal of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association and the Journal for Nurse Practitioners. He is a member of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association and American Nurses Association. He has also written several guest articles in publications such as McKnight’s Long-Term Care News. 

He earned his Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the Medical University of South Carolina College of Nursing in Charleston, South Carolina. In his off-time, Randy enjoys spending time with his family, friends, and two dogs.
